We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."<BR/><BR/>—Samuel AdamsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37949944.post-26047332422196192162008-05-26T22:40:00.000-04:002008-05-26T22:40:00.000-04:00Don Mitchell preferred to rule by unelected offici...Don Mitchell preferred to rule by unelected officials (commissions) and have our elected officials liken rubber stamps. They also have read the complaint to the FCO and realize that too amny Anguillians are now educated enough to see what they have allowed to happen on their watch. The only way to secure their place in government or their succesors place is to split and go for independence. That way they can avoid an official investigation into their handling of affairs in the past few years and continue to rule only thia time by decree. I don't think the majority of Anguillians will go for their independence push as they can see right through this ploy. Only time will tell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37949944.post-45434320653968684162008-05-26T13:17:00.000-04:002008-05-26T13:17:00.000-04:00The CM has been outflanked by Dame Bernice. If he shows any weakness on that point, she and her dogs, including Hubert, will have people marching in the street calling the CM a tool of the evil British. <BR/><BR/>But it is all threatre, and a way to get attention. The women and the dogs have taken over the stage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
